Fashion Production Association
As Secretary of the Fashion Production Association during my sophomore year of university, I had the responsibility of creating and dispatching weekly emails. Each week I would send out a general newsletter for all members of the organization, as well as an exec newsletter which was sent out to only the executive members and our org advisors. During my time as Secretary, I sent 48 of these newsletters, all of which were created using Canva with images sourced from Pinterest.

Additionally, as Co-President this past year, I developed presentations for our weekly general meetings to communicate important information and keep members engaged. Below are some examples of my work in these positions.
About The Ohio State University Fashion Production Association
The Fashion Production Association is dedicated to promoting fashion education and creating opportunities for up-and-coming designers or anyone interested in fashion. Throughout the year, a talented group of students work alongside equally talented advisors to produce an annual themed-design show; celebrating fashion and design creativity with our guests. Our design members have poured their hearts and creativity into imagining, drafting, and producing a collection of original garments. Our production students have been working tirelessly on fundraising, marketing, organizing promotional events, and more, to ensure that this year's show is one to remember.
Production
The nuts and bolts of the organization; responsible for bringing the show to fruition. Their tasks include visual show design, music, theme decor, fashion week, social media, fundraising, marketing, etc.
Design
Consists of students who are actually creating original garments that appear in the annual spring fashion show. Designers have the option to work individually or in groups.
Mission Statement:
The purpose of FPA is to provide students within the Fashion and Retail Studies program in the College of Education and Human Ecology with the opportunity to publicly display their abilities in garment design and construction, as well as advertising, fundraising, and special event production, culminating in a fashion design show or public exhibit at the end of the school year. This organization is open to all majors who have an interest in being part of a fashion production but is specifically for Fashion and Retail Studies students.
